Salah Ibrahim's brace helped Sudan to a virtuoso performance to crash Eritrea 3-0 in an exciting GOtv Cecafa Cup match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
Sudan begun the match like a house on fire as Salah Ibrahim broke the deadlock with a fine finish in the fifth minute beating Eritrea keeper Abdulrahman from close range.
Ibrahim was on the mark again in the 26th minute scoring the second goal from a tight angle to give Sudan deserved 2-0 lead.
Sudan went into the break leading and upon resumption came back with the same tempo as man of the match Mohannad Tahir put matters beyond Eritrea with a fine finish after school boy blunder by keeper Abdulrahaman.
Sudan's coach Mubarak Suliman praised his players’ efficiency, "we started well in group C and the players were brilliant throughout the entire game and this is positive as we wait for our other opponents in the group," Suliman told supersport.com.
