Azeez scores first La Liga goal

Nigerian midfielder, Ramon Azeez scored his first goal in Spain’s La Liga on Saturday as Almeria beat Real Betis 1-0 on Saturday.
The 21-year-old netted with a left-footed effort off an Aleix Vidal assist in the fourth minute to chalk up his first league goal of the season.
Four minutes later, Azeez had a chance to double his tally on the night but shot wildly following a brilliant set piece by Verza Rabasco.

Barely a minute later, he almost turned villain as he gave away a free kick in a dangerous position.
He however heaved a sigh of relief as Javier Matilla’s free kick was easily dealt with by the Almeria goalkeeper, Esteban Suarez.
In the 35th minute, Azeez had yet another chance to score his second goal of the day but was denied brilliantly by the Betis goalkeeper, Guillermo Sara after an impressive solo run.
Almeria eventually held out for the win to move away from the relegation zone.
