D’banj, Genevieve an item again

D’banj and Genevieve
Barely a month ago, in an interview with E-Punch, D’banj said he would love to marry Nollywood actress, Genevieve. His declaration became the major topic of that week especially online as their fans began wondering if they would get back together as few years ago, when the two superstars were an item.
So many people might not have reckoned with the story but  last weekend, the multiple award winning actress was seen in the arms of the Kokomaster, at the Gulder Club Ultimate party.
Looking dapper in a white shirt, straight cut black jeans and a black waist coat, D’banj drove into the event in a Black Bentley seconds after Genevieve came in her G-Wagon.

However, they both tried avoiding the paparazzi with D’banj pleading with the camera men to focus their attention on someone else and leave them.  His pleas fell on deaf ears as the cameramen focused on them entirely, not wanting to miss the magical moment.
The second season of GCU which hosted some of the biggest names in the Nigerian entertainment and media industry had the two celebrities partying and enjoying each other’s company throughout their stay at the event.

Club Ultimate, the mega city- to-city clubbing experience, was transformed into a giant cruise liner with a walkway tunnel leading right into the venue at Oceanview,Victoria Island.
However, on Friday, as the event started, guests had to contend with an impromptu rain which only enhanced the natural seaside ambience of the themed cruise liner concept.
The live jazz band Platinum Blazers kicked off the party with an exciting medley of light rhythm and blues to acoustic African sounds from the singers.

Special performances from Africa’s hottest disc jockeys DJ Xclusive and DJ Neptune who went head to head with an exciting mix of some of Nigeria’s biggest songs thrilled guests at Club Ultimate on Friday.
A major highlight of the show on Saturday was The Mother Africa acts from Ethiopia. Her hula hoop and Pole acts also left guests in awe. Stunts from a Tanzanian male group was a ‘never-seen-before’ acrobatic theatrics which earned them cheers and ovations from the crowd.
