Terry G is one of the most energetic performer at the moment and there is no doubt about that. He is a king on stage because of his ability to subject everyone to his will with his dance moves, songs and stage presence. Even though he has continue to maintain that he is a responsible man since he got his first baby, show promoters still believe that he is the most un-reasonable and irresponsible artiste ever in Nigeria.
While show promoters kept dragging him to court over non-appearance for shows he would have been paid for, the singer we heard is not ready to stop his attitude any time soon. We heard just last December, the singer was dragged to court by a Lagos based promoter over the same issue while Terry was abroad. The gist in town has it that Terry G is broke and he has been trying to keep up with the standard of been a celebrity in the hardest way of late.
Sources in the know says the singer who has just returned from a self-sponsored world tour have started negotiating on how to sell off his Iju Isaga club. We heard he made a huge loss on the world tour. Our source disclose further that the singer is also trying to sort out some personal family issues financially also which informed the selling off of the club. Money we heard will soon exchange hands on the club once Terry is able to put pen on paper for the intending new owners. His studio also we heard has witnessed a low patronage due to his in ability to pay his staffers. Let’s hope Terry stay afloat for a little while…
