Oprah Winfrey To Produce Selma, Starring David Oyelowo As Martin Luther King Jr

 

Oprah Winfrey is not taking her defeat from Lupita Nyong’o at the last concluded SAG award to heart neither is she losing sleep that she was snubbed by Oscar, Oprah is looking at the brighter side and jokes she has already won even if Oscar will not recognize her effort in making her hit movie, Butler, she has more movies coming soon, for fans of her performance in Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Oprah has some good news for you, she is coming on board to act as a producer on Selma, the drama about the historic civic rights marches that have Nigerian British actor David Oyelowo portraying Martin Luther King Jr.
Don’t be disappointed with the Oscar snub, Winfrey said “… I really look at that category and look who is nominated in that category: my friend Julia Roberts and June Squibb, whom I don’t know, but Sally Hawkins and Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong’o. I think that’s fantastic. And so I haven’t picked up the acting chops in 15 years.

Queen Elizabeth Hands Over Power To Prince Charles

 

England will have a new king soon as Queen Elizabeth hands over the reign of the country to her son, Prince Charles, after years of loyalty and working to make sure her reign is successful, age is turning fast against the Queen and she is gradually relinquish some of the traditional duties to Charles as she approaches her 88th birthday in April, this does not mean that Charles will be joining her in making some key decisions in her weekly briefings with the Prime Minster, David Cameron.

There are speculation s that Jay Z and Wife, Beyoncé will be leading performances at the next weekend’s Grammy Awards. The couple have worked hard in the last one year to deserve the spot. While Jay Z is wrapping up his album tour, Beyoncé is also pushing her fast selling album on all platforms.
Already, John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban, as well as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Carole King have been noted to be performing. Jay Z we heard will be performing together with his wife to a large audience and for the world. Already, it was reported the couples are busy at the moment but once their performance is confirmed rehearsal will commence for the night.

Grandma, Cissy Houston Is Not Happy With Kristina And Nick Gordon’s Marriage

Rapper M.I May Release New Album Before End Of April.


News from within the Chocolatecity Records where BET winner Ice Prince calls home has it that M.I will release his much anticipated album :Chairman” before the end of April this year. The metaphorical lyrical rapper petit rapper has been in the studios putting together and already tracks off the album are already ruling the airwaves.
The record label who is currently in court over singer Brymo’s controversial leave is also as we heard planning a big comeback for the rapper who seen to have been too out of stage for a while. Born Jude Agbaga, M.I started his rap career in 2003. He found his way in the industry ruled by the likes of ModenineRuggedman and Eedris Abdulkareem. And to fine his feet properly, he did a mix-tap titled “Safe”, a song which he imitated most Nigerian top hit songs and it became an instant success.
