Akumaa Mama Zimbi Named Among 50th Most Influential Personality In Ghana

 

Ace radio and television talk show host, Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi popularly called Akumaa Mama Zimbi, has gradually become a cultural icon for her philanthropic works, humanitarian works and her ability to use the media to solve peoples’ problems, her ‘Odo Ahomaso’ remains one of the longest running and most consistent late night shows on family, relationship, marriage and sex in the history of Ghanaian radio, the gist reaching us is she has been named as the 50th Most Influential Personality in Ghana in the year 2013…Chasing Omotola Ekehinde at the tail who is among the 100 Most Influential Persons in the world.
Mama Zimbi, who is currently co-ambassador for World Heart Day 2013 in Ghana, is the founder and executive director of Mama Zimbi Foundation (MZF), a non-governmental organization which initiated the Widows Alliance Network (WANE) that supports vulnerable widows and their needy children,
with membership of over 8,000 widows across Ghana.
