EJ Johnson might not be as influential as Justin Bieber who is currently dealing with his troubles, but he is one of the favourite faces you will see on shows, he is the son of basketball legend and HIV/AIDS activist Earvin “Magic” Johnson, EJ has appeared on every episode of the new E!’s reality show so far, studying event management and design at New York University. He recently caused a frenzy when he was spotted departing 1 Oak night club in West Hollywood and lots of Paparazzi caught up with him.
Back in April 2013, EJ made national headlines after being photographed holding hands with NYC student and fashion intern Alessandro Monetti. EJ publicly came out as gay soon after, and Magic Johnson quickly spoke out, praising his son’s honesty and pledging his unconditional love and support… EJ came out to his father at age 12. “We’ve known for a long time that my son EJ was gay,” the former L.A. Laker said in 2013. “We finally had to sit down and talk about it. I told him, ‘Look, I’m gonna love you regardless, just let me know. Are you, or aren’t you?’ And finally he said, ‘Yes, I am.’”
When he’s not in school, EJ can be seen stopping by E! News give his take on all things fashion. He’s been live-tweeting the show, and stopping to reflect on how strange it is to see yourself on a reality show. “My first appearance so weird to see myself on tv #rkobh #showstopper” he tweetedon January 19.
We are wondering if EJ has any skills on the court, maybe he’s got that Magic touch. He sure looks to be enjoying West
