Prince George of England may have stolen the limelight when he was born last year when it comes to celebrity kids, but Blue Ivy the two year old daughter of Jay Z and Beyonce is already swimming in the ocean of royalty as she celebrated her two year birthday on January 7, Kanye West got his daughter a miniature of his Lamborghini and the Carter family is reported to have given Blue Ivy a horse, a real horse.
Over a mere two years on earth, this little lady has stolen our hearts. Beyond being the offspring of two of the world’s biggest superstars (hey, Bey and Jay!), Blue is already a bona fide fashionista, chart-topping “singer and social media sensation to name a few.
And she is growing so fast that she is already busy collaborating on music with her parents and offering her father A&R advice.
“Blue loves animals and expressed interest in having a horse . . . so they bought her one,” a source told Media Take Out of Blue’s birthday gift, specifying that the horse was actually a $75K “full-blooded Arabian, suitable for competing in equestrian.”
She is so special to Beyonce and Jay-z that within 48 hours of her Jan. 7, 2012, birth, she appeared on her father’s song “Glory.” The then-newborn baby’s first cries can be heard as the record fades out. Earlier in the track, Jay Z raps about being comforted by her heartbeat, his excitement about her birth and her promising future.
Happy birthday, Blue Ivy, maybe you can be better than your parents as an artiste when you grow.
