Joselyn Dumas Wept Before Collecting The ‘Best Supporting Actress’ Award

 





With shaking legs and trembling legs, Joselyn Dumas went on stage to receive her award as ‘Best Supporting Actress’, in a movie titled ‘A Northern Affair’ which she played the lead role, a nomination that had received a lot of criticism from people like John Dumelo, she eventually beat the other contestants to win the controversial award but not without shedding tears on stage, her joy was so overwhelming that she somehow forgot her ‘vote of thanks’ lines.
Do not think that everyone is going to congratulate her, it was reported that organizers had goofed with the nomination list, and had come to a conclusion that in order to appease those they thought they had hurt,
they decided to give Joselyn the award.

The drama for this award was intense, you can imagine that Leila Djansi, the director of the movie showed her displeasure a night before this award: “Ghana Movie Awards, what on earth? How can Joselyn Dumas be nominated in supporting actress, when the entire story of A Northern Affair was told from her point of view? Guys guys guys, if we are going to do something let us do it right. Please. We can’t continue like this. Get it together and get it right. GMA is a laudable enterprise but it needs to grow in the right
When Joselyn finally got herself, she quickly cautioned Leila, played a little drama by embarrassing Leila, by giving shout-out to Shirley Frimpong-Manso. What can we say to this? Congrats Joselyn anyway.
