Legendary Onyeka Onwenu’s songs has been the sound track to our lives like forever. Even when singers from her class have dropped off and some still battling with relevance, she still kept tab of her games on all generations and remained relevance. From South Africa to Nigerian and to the entire part of the world, she is well known even though she has never had a Grammy nominations nor BET, but she is thankful for it.
At the moment, we heard she is working on some project that it’s possible she has award winning pop singer Dbanj on it. That is the in thing now. It worked with Wizkid and Femi Kuti, Pasumaand Dammy Krane, Wizkid with KAS and more. We are sure of Dbanj on the remix. Why because producer FearDeeVee is the brains behind the production and he produces for Dbanj so… Onyeka left music for a while and went into politics and this has paid off for her.
Probably to make some money for herself because as time went by, the type of her song went of the vogue. Hope she can coup with Dbanj because as gentle as the young man looks, he has his own drama. Please be warned o. Onyeka has also been liked with many men during her time. She also had a stint in acting where she won her self a plaque at the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in supporting role in 2006.
